Queen Letizia of Spain was today back to royal duties after a busy schedule in Oviedo last week. Letizia attended the 22nd edition of the “City of Tudela ‘Opera Prima’ Film Festival” at the Moncayo Cinema in Tudela, Navarra. Organized by the EPEL Tudela-Cultura and Cine Club Muskaria, the ‘Opera Prima’ Film Festival is one of the most important cultural events of the year in Tudela.
The event is being held from October 28 to November 5. This year the film festival honoured the film director Pilar Miró. This season the festival is having 7 films in competition, a series of previous acts and the screening of the closing film ‘Emilia’, by Miguel Ángel Calvo Buttini from Tudel.
Queen Letizia arrives at the Cinema. This is Queen Letizia’s second consecutive appearance at the event. In 2021 Letizia chose COS Draped Neck Ribbed Wool Dres with her Burberry belt.
There was a small crowd gathered outside the cinema to meet the Queen upon her arrival. Letizia spent some time with the well-wishers before going inside.

After the opening act, Queen Letizia presented this year’s awards which included the ‘Ciudad de Tudela’ Award for Best Film, which will be shared 50 per cent between the production company and the director. It is a prize awarded by public vote and its endowment is 6,000 euros. ‘Príncipe de Viana’ Award for Best Direction with an endowment of 3,000 euros.
The ‘Special Jury’ Award is always for a novel category (film, direction, screenplay or interpretation) and its endowment is 2,000 euros. Premio Juventud ‘Tudela-Cultura’ is a prize awarded by the vote of Tudela secondary school students for the best film and its endowment is 1,000 euros. ‘Equality’ Award is granted by vote of the Municipal Council for Equality of the Tudela City Council to the film that promotes values around equal rights and opportunities for women and men. It has an endowment of 1,000 euros.
After the event, Queen Letizia met with the school students who were attending the film festival today as part of extra-curricular activities.
Outside the venue, Letizia also stood for photographs with the well-wishers.
Moving towards Queen Letizia’s Style – the gorgeous 50-year-old Queen chose a stylish and chic look that did not go well with many royal fans today.
Queen Letizia was wearing a black Hugo Boss Fabrisia sweater.
The new element of the look was H&M x Toga Archives checkered skirt. Thanks to Nuria for the id. The mid-length skirt features a blue and white check print and an artistically designed hole on one side of the skirt. The €120 skirt is from a past collaboration and is not available anymore.
Another new element of today’s look was Magrit leather pumps with a bow.

Tomorrow, Letizia will join King Felipe to host a lunch in honour of the President of the Republic of Paraguay, Mr Mario Abdo Benítez, and the First Lady, Ms Silvana Lopez Moreira.
