The Princess of Asturias, Leonor, will be back home for Easter Break this Friday. Leonor is in the last semester of International Baccalaureate at the UWC Atlantic college and her Easter break starts on April 06th and ends on April 16th.
The Future Queen of Spain will be graduating from the Wales based college on May 20th of this year. Not much details of the graduation ceremony are known so we are not sure if King Felipe and Queen Letizia will be attending the Graduation ceremony or not held this summer.
Leonor joined the UWC Atlantic College in August 2020 after graduating from Santa María de los Rosales School. Later this fall, Leonor’s younger sister, Infanta Sofia, will be heading to UWC for IB.

But the Palace and Ministry of Defence has definitely released the much awaited details on Leonor’s Military training and University education. While its not known yet where she will be studying from September 2023, she will be studying and training with the three forms of military at the same time
” After completing secondary education, it is necessary to consider the next formative stage of the Princess, taking into account her responsibilities, first as Heiress to the Crown and, later, as future Queen of Spain. The Princess of Asturias will start higher education next academic year 2023-2024. To this end, it is established that in this period both her military training –in the broader framework of her military career–, as well as her university training to achieve a degree and, in her case, a postgraduate degree, converge”.

Princess Leonor will start her Military training at the Zaragoza General Military Academy in the academic year of 2023-2024. In the academic year of 2024-2025, The Princess of Asturias will head to the Marín Naval Military Academy for a couple of months before a training journey aboard the teaching ship Juan Sebastián de Elcano. Then in the academic year 2025-2026, Princess Leonor will begin the last leg of her Military Training at San Javier General Air Academy.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia have taken the week off from public duties. We might see the family at the Easter Sunday service. And we can definitely expect Leonor to undertake a couple of official engagements while she is home.
Princess Leonor’s last public engagement was in December 2022 when she visited Spanish Red Cross during her winter break.
