The three children of Prince and Princess of Wales – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are on summer break until September 06, 2023. Their academic session 2022-2023 ended on Saturday, July 08th, 2023 at the Berkshire-based private school – Labrook where they started their education in September 2022.
The Royal couple has emphasises many times that their children’s childhood and upbringing are their primary focus just like any other normal parents. That focus changed their primary residence from Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage in August 2022. From Mid of July to Mid of September is usually a summer break for the majority of Royals around the globe. The Prince and Princess of Wales are not an exception either.
The Princess of Wales is set to present the Wimbledon final trophy this Saturday and Sunday. Catherine is the patron of AELCC and President of Wimbledon. Last year we saw William and Catherine bringing Prince George and the Men’s Final where George was extremely happy when the Tennis Champion and Wimbledon 2022 winner Novak Djokovic let him hold his trophy. We might see George and possibly Princess Charlotte too at the match this weekend.

This summer has been quite busy for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. They attended their Grandfather King Charles III’s coronation in May. In July they were present at the Trooping the Colour Parade. The Prince and Princess of Wales also took their elder son to Eton in June this year – I believe they are already looking at the next academic place where Prince George will be studying once he finishes at Lambrook in the next 3 years. Students usually start at Eton at the age of 13 (that will be 2026 for George) – but students have to register before they turn 10 for a seat at the $20,000 per term private school that counts Prince William and his brother Prince Harry as its Alma mater among many other royals and aristocrats.
After this weekend The Wales family will be heading to Norfolk where they have their primary country residence – Anmer Hall for quite two months away from public life. In the past family used to have one family vacation during the summer break, some quality time with the Middleton family and a Balmoral week before resuming the royal duties. With Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II no longer among us, how that Balmoral week will go is not known yet.
Another highlight of summer break would be Prince George’s 10th birthday later this month.
