The Match was a gripping one with so much history online today. While Novak Djokovic was fighting for a record-breaking 24th Grand Slam and his 8th Wimbledon title Carlos was fighting for his first one. The excitement and nervousness of the match were seen on the Royals’ faces too.
Carlos Alcaraz wrote a chapter in history when he defeated Novak Djokovic in a more than 4 hours long match 1-6, 7-6, 6-1,3-6,6-4. It was Carlos’s first Wimbledon title. With this Novak came short of equalling Roger Federer’s 8 Wimbledon title record.
