Queen Letizia of Spain attended the third “Retina Eco Awards” at the Royal Tapestry Factory Foundation in Madrid today. Awarded by by PRISA Media in collaboration with Capgemini, the awards recognize the most outstanding projects for their innovation, impact on sustainability and the fight against climate change, technology and other environmental or social aspects related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The Retina Eco awards were held in September 2021 for the first time. And Queen Letizia has presented the awards on the previous two editions also. The winners of the third edition of the awards have been selected from more than 70 projects developed during 2022.
This year’s winners included Efficientheating, the recyclable radiant heating system from Aimplas; IA4BAT, Capital Energy’s batteries reused as solar energy storage; the Madrid Municipal Transport Company (EMT) for a project for the decarbonization of public transport in the capital that includes the elimination of the diesel fleet; and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners’ plan for efficient water management and improvement of the health of hydraulic basins. The winning SME in the Sustainability Innovation category was Solar Cover for the installation of a megabattery in the textile company TexAthenea, which allows the energy previously obtained through solar panels to be stored.

Letizia teamed up the outfit with a black Hugo Boss belt.
She was wearing her black Aquazzura Forever pumps.
and carried her Giorgio Armani Chevron Velvet Handbag.
Another new element of the style was TOUS Waterfall Emerald and gold earrings.
