It’s a harrowing statistic that shows just how important The Duchy of Cornwall’s new Mental Health Strategy is going to be. pic.twitter.com/hSdM20nrYv
Prince William and Kate Middleton have made Mental health and well-being a primary focus of their public role and have been working with various organizations under the umbrella of The Royal Foundation to remove the stigma around mental health.
The School and The Duchy of Cornwall has been partners for the last 12 years. The Duchy provides the school with a wood line site at the Brampton Hill wood where the school runs an outdoor class room which is mandatory for each student to attend once a week. During the outdoor classes, students not only studies the regular curriculum but also learn about the enthronement awareness, conservation and woodland management.
“William sawed through the log which was held steady by Kate, whose right hand was still bandaged together from her trampoline injury. She asked the class: ‘Is William doing it right?’ After the pupils confirmed the Prince was properly skimming the tree, Kate was offered a pair of gloves. She politely declined, saying: ‘I can’t even put that on because I’ve got two fingers stuck together.'”

Prince William inherited the Duchy of Cornwall from his father, King Charles III, in September 2022 after the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. Under the management of King Charles III, who was the Then Prince of Wales and Duke of Cornwall, the Duchy was turned into an extremely successful Billion Pound business. William has been involved in the management for some years now and had the full understanding of the Dukedom when he inherited it.

The charity supports the farmers in the county who are suffering from mental health issues. It offers the farmers a fully funded range of services that includes counselling, 24 hours phone and text support line, free mental health awareness workshops and social events for the local farmers.
“The Prince of Wales has announced that he will put mental health schemes at the heart of his approach to running the Duchy of Cornwall. The move marks the first significant change from how the estate, which generates an annual income of some £24 million for his family, was run by his father. His new strategy will aim to provide mental health care and support for all tenants of the 130,000-acre estate he inherited on the death of his grandmother“.
