Queen Letizia of Spain was in Asturias today to undertake another one of her staple annual engagement – opening of the Vocational Courses 2023-2024. This year’s destination was the Langreo Integrated FP Center for Communication, Image and Sound in Langreo, Asturias.
Upon arrival in Asturias, Queen Letizia received a warm welcome from the locals outside the centre and then was formally welcomed by the President of the Asturian Government. The Langreo Integrated Vocational Training Center for Communication, Image and Sound (CIFP CISLAN) is a public center inaugurated in 2006
Letizia unveiled a commemorative plaque and attended a center meeting where an explanatory video was run to explain the various courses being taught at the center. She was joined by the representatives of students, teachers, unions and local businessmen.
Then Letizia toured the centre and saw various labs that included photography classroom, the sound recording studio classroom and the library. After finishing the tour of the Center, Doña Letizia had a meeting with the students and teachers in the assembly hall. The center is part of the Network of Integrated Centers of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Principality of Asturias.
