Catherine, The Princess of Wales, was in Marseilles, France, today to watch the 2023 Rugby World Cup Quarter-Final match between England and Fiji at the Stade Velodrome. Kate Middleton is the patron of Rugby Football League since February 2022. Yesterday, The Prince of Wales, William, attended the 2023 Rugby World Cup Quarter-final match between Wales and Argentina with couple’s elder son Prince George. We were hoping that The Princess of Wales bring Princess Charlotte today as the kids are on school break until October 30th.

This was Princess Kate’s second visit to France for the Rugby World cup this year. In September, Kate Middleton attended the Rugby World cup group stage match between England and Argentina. Since becoming the patron of Rugby League, Kate has been very active with the events related to Rugby. From Standard UK’s report
“The princess witnessed England beat Fiji 30-24 in the match on Sunday. She was greeted by RFU president Rob Briers, and World Rugby chairman Sir Bill Beaumont, before being shown to her seat in the presidential box at Marseille’s Stade Velodrome. Kate asked Sir Bill if he was “still surviving” after all the games so far to which he replied “Absolutely” adding that it had been “brilliant” and he had seen 18 matches.
Sir Bill then asked if George had enjoyed the match on Saturday to which she replied: “He did, he loved it so much.” Speaking to Mr Briers, Kate, wearing a white jacket and black trousers, added: “Let’s keep our fingers crossed. I’ve been watching a few games. It’s been really great. It’s been a really successful World Cup”.”
Brilliant as always to have our patron Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales in attendance in Marseille.#ENGvFIJ | #RWC2023 pic.twitter.com/gPyuXNjt4l
