King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain presented the annual “Francisco Cerecedo” Journalism Prize awarded by the Association of European Journalists at the Westin Palace hotel in Madrid. Queen Letizia was looking absolutely elegant in a white suit at the awards that has a long-standing link to her old profession. Once upon a time, the gorgeous Spanish Queen was a famous journalist of the country.
The winner of the edition is “More than one” in Onda Cero, by Carlos Alsina. Carlos Alsina has been director of More than One since April 2015 and previously led La Brújula. He debuted on the radio in 1990, coinciding with the birth of Onda Zero, and was part of the network’s first newsroom.
