Queen Letizia of Spain has begun her solo agenda of the new year and her first solo engagement of the year was the Association for the Prevention, Reintegration and Care of Prostitute Women (APRAMP), at its headquarters in Madrid, where she has met first-hand the Integral Project of this entity. Letizia’s first public engagement was on Saturday when she joined King Felipe and Princess Leonor at the Military Easter.
The visit to the centre has been scheduled to learn about the new challenges faced by the entity and the search for socio-labor alternatives for victims of trafficking and exploitation. This center houses all the training areas in a single space, including the Fashion School and the School of Survivors, flagship projects of the entity with a pioneering working methodology in which alternatives are formed and generated, feeding back the projects themselves.
Queen Letizia toured the building facilities, learn about the various projects and workshops run by the association and met with the survivors. After the tour of the facilities, work spaces and presentation of the workers and women in care, Letizia has chaired a working table with members of the technical team of the entity and survivors, in which Her Majesty has obtained a more detailed knowledge of the Comprehensive Project of APRAMP and the last phase of development implemented at the Training Center.
