Prince Louis of Cambridge is turning one tomorrow. To mark the occasion, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared three pictures of adorable Prince. Look at the cute smile of Louis. He has grown up so much since we last saw him. Louis looks so much like a mix of both George and Charlotte while having a strong resemblance to Catherine.
The pictures were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge at the gardens of their country home Anmer Hall in Norfolk earlier this month. Cambridge family is spending the spring break in Norfolk and will be back this week before George and Charlotte start their schools. A History of Arts Graduate, Duchess of Cambridge Catherine is an amateur photographer and usually takes a lot of pictures of her kids as revealed by her husband Prince William in past. And as always Catherine did an amazing job of capturing the playful side of her son.
Duchess chose to click the pictures in natural light while highlighting her passion about the outdoors. The pictures will not only be part of the family album but also the long-standing history of the British Royal Family. In the portraits, Louis is enjoying his time in the garden area that gives the pictures a bright and colourful background. About spending time outdoors, Catherine who has designed ‘the RHS Back to Nature Garden‘ for the Royal Horticultural Society’s Chelsea Flower Show that will be open from May 21 to 25 May this year, recently said,
“Spending quality time together is such an important aspect of family life and for me, as a mother, it is the simple family moments like playing outside together that I cherish,”
The young Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge was born on April 23, 2018, and just like his older siblings birth, his birth was also celebrated nationwide. It has become a sort of tradition for the couple to share the pictures with the Royal fan to mark the big milestones in the lives of their young kids.
Palace said, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share three new photographs of Prince Louis ahead of his first birthday tomorrow”. In two pictures Louis is dressed in a red jumper and in other, he is wearing a blue jumper with a dog print on it. Unlike George, whom we usually see in half-pant, Louis is smartly dressed in the full trouser.
He took the centre stage in the official portraits released by the Clarence House to mark the 70th birthday of Louis’ Grandfather Prince Charles of Wales. In the same month, The London Times printed the photoshoot marking the milestone of Prince Charles’ life that include cute pictures of Cambridge family.
Of course, we cannot forget the chubby cheeks we saw in a family portrait released on Christmas. As happened in the past, pictures were embargoed but were leaked online before the official release. I believe both Palace and Media houses need to take corrective measures so that it does not happen in future.
I wish a very happy and blissful birthday to our little Prince. Next, we will see Duchess on Thursday when she will be attending Anzac Day Service at Westminster Abbey. Here I will leave you with portraits of Louis’ elder siblings to refresh the beautiful memories of cuteness that seems to be part of Cambridge genes.
