The Cambridge family was all smiles when they arrived at the Buckingham Palace for Queen’s annual family Pre-Christmas luncheon. Today’s lunch is one of the highlights of the royal family’s holiday calendar.
The Duchess of Cambridge drove Princess Charlotte and little Prince Louis to the Palace. The lunch is hosted by the Queen every year before Christmas to meet and greet all the members of extended Royal Family who do not join her at Sandringham for annual Church service.
Little Prince Louis is growing up so fast. He is resembling his mother more and more day by day. Today his hair was darker than when we saw him last time at the Polo Match. His curious eyes were scanning the people gathered outside. The youngest member of the Cambridge family was wearing the Parsnip Fairisle Jumper by Amaia Kids. Thanks to Bojana for the id.
The little kids are growing so fast. Princess Charlotte is already in her first year of school with where older brother Prince George is going since 2017. The Cambridge Princess was wearing the Little Alice London Nutcracker dress. Thanks to Caroline Parr for the fabulous id. Charlotte is a ballet lover and joined her Mother at the rehearsal of Nutcracker last year.
Prince William arrived at the family occasion with couple’s eldest son Prince George just before Catherine and younger kids. In Monday night’s BBC One Special ‘A Berry Royal Christmas’, dad Prince William revealed what the little royal might get for Christmas – “George has already written his list for Father Christmas. He loves his drawing. He’s a very good drawer. We might get him something for drawing or football he is loving his football as well.“
Many other royals were spotted driving into Buckingham Palace today including Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice, and Zara Tindall.
It looks like Duchess of Cambridge is wearing an Emilia Wickstead Anni Tartan Georgette Midi Dress or a blouse made of the same pattern. Thanks to Caroline Parr fo the id. When the family was leaving we can see that Duchess’ outfit does not have the wispy sleeves shown here in the dress.
The £2,730 red tartan dress features a shift dress silhouette, a pointed collar and wispy silk sleeves that gather with button-up cuffs. It cinches at the waist to highlight the waistline.
At the time of writing the elegant dress was available on The Modist.
.
The pattern of the dress matches with her Emilia Wickstead Pris Pleated Tartan Flannel Skirt that she wore last year in December at the Christmas party hosted for the military personnel families.
Duchess paired the dress with her Cassandra Goad Cavolfiore Pearl Studs that she debuted at the christening of Prince Louis in July 2018.
@luu297 on Twitter noted the gold chain around the Duchess body. It seems she was carrying her Mulberry Ruby Red Croc Darley Bag debuted in July 2019 at polo match where Prince Louis made her polo debut.
Today we also saw the Cambridge family’s Christmas card. Palace has not released the picture yet but the card was shared by the Comdt AC on twitter that was sent by the Duchess to all Air Cadets. The picture looks like was taken at the Anmer Hall in Norfolk – the country residence of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The family is posing on a vintage motorcycle with a sidecar. The pose is very regal yet the very common at the same time. Family, motorcycle, outdoors – the shot is something we all might have done at one time in our life.
When we get the Christmas picture last year I was thinking about how they will top this one. But this year’s picture is my most favourite Christmas picture shared by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
In the picture, it looks like Catherine is wearing Boden Aurora Midi Wrap Dress.
The wrap dress is described as, “This wrap midi dress is all about boho luxe, right down to the floaty tiered skirt, three-quarter-length sleeves and crinkle viscose fabric.” The dress features low calf length hemline with functional cuff, soft gathers from back yoke, functional wrap and self-fabric tie belt at waist.
In case you missed, on Monday we saw the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge bringin heartwarming start to the festival season with British cookery Queen Mary Berry at the BBC One special A Berry royal Christmas.
I belive, the family will be heading to Anmer Hall soon to enjoy the winter break. It’s been reported and I am really hoping from the botton of my heart that this year Prince George and Princess Charlotte will join the family at the Sandrigham Church service.
