King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain hosted the annual Balearic Island reception at the Royal Palace of Marivent in Palma. The reception was attended by the authorities of the Balearic Islands and a representation of Balearic society.
They were joined by King Felipe’s mother Queen Sofia. Upon their arrival at the Marivent Palace, they were received by the President of the Balearic Islands and the president of the Parliament of the Balearic Islands.
There were around 400 guests at the evening event at the Spanish Royal Family’s summer residence The Marivent Palace of Palma de Mallorca. The Palace was built in 1920 and is reportedly Queen Sofia’s favorite place as she spends most of her time here at the Palace.
