Queen Letizia of Spain is back to Royal duties after few weeks of summer break. Although the Royal family was on official break but we saw them on many occasions like Spanish Women Football world cup final match and Princess Leonor’s first day at the Military Training. Letizia’s first public appearance was the UNICEF Spanish Awards.
Queen Letizia is the Honorary President of UNICEF Spain. Upon arrival, The Queen met with the authorities and members of the board of trustees, from the advisory council and ambassadors of UNICEF Spain, and members of the jury and award-winners. The event began with a video describing the role of Spain in UNICEF.
Then The Queen took to the stage and presented the annual awards. This year’s recipients included UNICEF Spain Transforma 2023 Award – Congenital Cardiopathies Unit of the La Paz Hospital in Madrid, UNICEF España Comunica 2023 Award, has gone to the journalist Alexia Columba Jerez for the report and UNICEF Spain Joaquín Ruiz-Giménez Award 2023, which is awarded individually to people with a vital and professional career who stand out for their constant and prolonged dedication to advancing the rights of children and this year’s recipient is Shabana Basij-Rasikh, Afghan activist co-founder of SOLA (School of Leadership of Afghanistan).
The awards recognize the commitment and efforts of individuals and organizations that, through projects, initiatives or actions, contribute significantly to changing the lives of children.

Heading towards Style of the day – Queen Letizia debuted a new pink suit today from her go-to label Hugo Boss. Letizia was wearing $495 Boss Jocalua Blazer. The single-button jacket was described “Offered in a laid-back silhouette for effortless style, this jacket is crafted in Japanese crepe made from certified cellulosic fibers with natural stretch for dependable crease resistance. Tonal monograms appear on the full lining for a signature touch.”
Letizia paired the blazer with $278 Boss Tapia Regular-fit crepe trousers with paper-bag waist. The trousers were described as “Pleat-front trousers with belt by BOSS Womenswear, designed in Japanese crepe with natural stretch and crease-resistant performance. These are cut to a regular fit with a tapered leg, cropped length and paper-bag waistband that sits at a high rise.”
Letizia was wearing her Hugo Boss Cylani Blouse that she first wore in June 2015.
