The UK is known for its pomp and pageantry and it was on full display today. The King offered a full military ceremonial welcome to the Korean first couple. After inspecting the Guard of Honour, found by F Company Scots Guard and a short parade, The King and Queen along with the President and First Lady headed to Buckingham Palace in a carriage procession followed by The Prince and Princess of Wales.
At Buckingham Palace, a second Guard of Honour found by 1st Battalion Welsh Guards welcomed them. The King and Queen hosted a private lunch for the President and First Lady at Buckingham Palace. The Prince and Princess of Wales were also in attendance along with The Duchess of Edinburgh with The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
What The Princess of Wales wore to Korea State Visit Welcome Ceremony
- Catherine Walker Cape and dress – (New)
- Jane Taylor Hat – (New)
- Princess Diana’s Sapphire and Diamond Earrings – (Repeat)
- Miu-Miu Bow Embellished Bag – (Repeat)
- Gianvito Rossi Pumps – (Repeat)
The Princess of Wales was looking absolutely stunning in a red Catherine Walker outfit. There has been a lot of discussion going on about the outfit as there is a lot going on with that outfit. It is a repeated outfit with a new touch.
It seem, The Princess of Wales is wearing her red Catherine Walker bow coat and matching dress that she first wore at the 2021 ‘Together at Christmas’ Carol service.
The new touch to the outfit was a matching long cape.
