King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain received a delegation from the Spanish Committee of Representatives of Persons with Disabilities (CERMI), on the occasion of the recent reform of article 49 of the Spanish Constitution.
The amendment of article 49 of the constitution is devoted to persons with disabilities, which has been completely renewed, with political and social support.
CERMI is the platform for the representation, defence and action of more than 3.8 million Spanish citizens with disabilities, plus their families, to advance in the recognition of their rights and achieve full citizenship in equal rights and opportunities with the rest of the components of society.
