On Monday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain had an unannounced engagement. The royal couple received the Spanish Basketball team at the Royal Palace of Zarzuela after the team beat Argentina by 95-75 in the 2019 FIBA World Cup.
Felipe and Letizia had a beaming smile when they met with the proud champions. The FIBA World Cup 2019 took place in China.
The National Team was led by the president of the Spanish Basketball Federation, Jorge Garbajosa. The team showed the King and Queen winning the trophy.
At one moment they presented King Felipe with the gold medal.

For the proud day, Queen Letizia debuted a new dress. She was wearing a red sleeveless midi dress.
From the design, it looked like a Carolina Herrera piece but I have not received any confirmation so far. The dress featured round neckline with front zip fastening and pleating skirt.
Letizia paired the dress with her red Carolina Herrera slingback pumps.
Her ruby cabochon and diamond earrings finished the look.
