Queen Letizia of Spain is making a short trip to Croatia today and tomorrow where she is scheduled to attend the ‘Congress on the Prevention of Childhood Obesity in Zagreb’. Queen Letizia is the special Ambassador of FAO and has been actively involved in the healthy lifestyle engagements conducted by WHO and FAO.
This is Letizia’s first engagement after last week’s British Pomp and Pageantry. Letizia was in the United Kingdom for two days during which she attended a Reception hosted by King Charles on the eve of Coronation and then attended the Coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey.
I had a chance to see Queen Letizia up close last weekend after Coronation. King Felipe and Queen Letizia were staying at the Spanish Embassy so I went there after the coronation and my quick visit paid off. I saw the couple after the coronation when they left for Spain. If you look at her picture and say Letizia is beautiful, she is far more gorgeous in real life. And Felipe, oh my God, the King is really Tall. And they both make an absolutely beautiful couple. The King is very attentive and caring when it comes to his beautiful wife.
This short trip to Croatia is the third international engagement for the Queen of Spain in the span of two weeks after a state visit from the Colombian President and British Coronation.
Upon arrival in Croatian city, Queen Letizia was officially welcomed by the President of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Zoran Milanović and the First Lady, Mrs. Sanja Musić, at the Presidential Palace.
After the formal greetings and official photographs, The Presidential couple escorted the Spanish Queen to the living room where a dinner was being hosted in her honour. This was Queen Letizia’s third meeting with the Croatian President and First Lady in the time frame of less than a year – King Felipe and Queen Letizia welcomed the Crotian President and First Lady at the Nato Summit in Madrid last summer and then later on made an official visit to Croatia in winter of 2022.
The Congress on Prevention of Childhood Obesity is being hosted by WHO and the First Lady of Croatia, Mrs. Sanja Musić within the framework of the Summit of the Spouses of European Leaders. Tomorrow, Congress will be attended by spouses of heads of various European states. Queen Letizia will be addressing the gathering. If I have to guess, we will have another journalist Letizia moment tomorrow where she might address the gathering in English.

The look Letizia chose was elegant, stunning and very professional at the same time. Hugo Boss, the German label, has a biggest presence in the wardrobe of Queen Letizia of Spain. Letizia often picks stunning dresses and professional suits from the label.
Tonight, Letizia was wearing Hugo Boss Jaxtiny2 Slim-fit tuxedo-style jacket and matching Boss Tackea Regular-fit trousers in wool. The $645 jacket featuring tonal trims in silken material, this feminine jacket is tailored to a streamlined fit and lined with signature fabric.
While the $348 trousers were described as “side stripes for tuxedo styling, these regular-rise trousers are cut to a straight fit with a wide leg and trimmed with a logo detail at the rear.”
The Spanish Queen was wearing a new white lace Camisole.
Queen Letizia is known for giving an edgy and glamorous touch to her outfits using simple accessories. Tonight was another example of that occasion. Letizia paired the white suit with golden accessories.
She was carrying her gold-tone Magrit ‘Alice’ clutch and matching gold-tone Magrit slingback pumps.
Another touch of elegance was her neat and clean bun that highlighted her white gold, diamond and pearl earrings.
Her Corterno Ring was not missing either.
