King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain presided over the annual Princess of Girona Foundation meeting at the Royal Palace of Zarzuela in Madrid. The meeting is held every year ahead of the annual Princess of Girona Foundation awards in July. The Princess of Girona is the title held by the Heir/heiress of the Spanish throne and is currently being held by Princess Leonor, King Felipe and Queen Letizia’s elder daughter.

The meeting discussed the 2022-2023 financial year closure and plans for 2023-2024. The Royal couple was briefed about the working groups and the activities of the different programs. This meeting was attended by the management team of the Princess of Girona Foundation formed by its president, Francisco Belil; the secretary of the Patronato, Silvia Martínez; the general director, Salvador Tasqué, and a representation of the members of the Board.

Queen Letizia debuted the green suit from the Spanish Bimba y Lola in April 2021 at the Innovation awards. The suit featured a double-breasted blazer featuring peaked lapels with welt pockets and high-waisted straight-cut trousers. This was the first time Queen Letizia wore a clothing design from the Vigo based designer. Letizia has earrings from the brand that she has in her wardrobe for a very long time.
Since then, Letizia has repeated the suit many times. The suit came back in October 2021 when she visited at the FAO Congress. Letizia again wore the suit in 2022 at the FAD meeting in January and then in September at the “FundéuRAE” meeting.
