King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain hosted a return reception at the Glyptotek for Queen Margrethe II, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark to thank them for their warm hospitality during the Spanish State visit to Denmark. King Felipe and Queen Letizia were making their first-ever State visit to the Scandinavian country since their accession to the throne in May 2014.
After greeting the guests at the reception hall, The Spanish King and Queen, The Danish Queen and Crown Prince Couple toured the exhibition “Joaquín Sorolla – Light in Motion”.
Thanking the hosts, King Felipe said, “Over these past two days, we have witnessed the extraordinary vitality of your country, the enormous kindness of its people and, of course, the strength of past and present ties between us, which – I am certain- will continue to bind us and help us to sail the future“.
